100% maguey Arroqueño (A.Americana var. oaxacensis) cultivated from seed and grown on the land of maestro Florian Vasquez.
Unusually for the region (which is primarily known for small clay pot distillation), Florian first distilled this batch in stainless steel, before reverting to the quintessential clay pots for the second distillation. This technique aims to increase yield without losing the essence of the ancestral clay flavour.

House Tasting Notes:
Tasting overview: Earthy, sweet, smoky
Tasting notes: Earthy, woody, and dusty on first nose. But also sweet, like an extremely boozy trifle. Toasted liquid caramel on first sip, before more chalky and mineral tones are allowed to enter the mid-palate. The finish is dusty, yet sweet, yet mineral. At 52% this one really packs a flavour punch… that first toasted caramel sip is dangerously moreish.
